Montmanuel
Nation: Pantocratoria
Capital: Manuelville
Leader: Duc de Montmanuel

Montmanuel is a duchy in the south of mainland Pantocratoria. It was granted as a fief to the first Duke of Montmanuel by Emperor Manuel VII. Prior to that the area had been largely unsettled because of the difficulty of travelling through the Votosoros mountain range which separates the duchy from the northern mainland, but the influx of immigrants which had been coming to Pantocratoria in a steady stream since the reign of Emperor Manuel V necessitated the settlement of new areas.

The area is now one of the wealthier provinces of Pantocratoria, with nearly a quarter of the Empire's beef-based agricultural sector based in Montmanuel. It is peppered with baroque and rococo châteaux and fashionable country retreats, and is the only rural area in Pantocratoria where the majority of the population speaks French as a primary language (91% according to the latest census).
