NAEBR
NAEBR (pronounced "neighbor") also known as "Nanometer, Artificially Engineered, Biological Robot" is the newest biological weapon designed an manufactored in the U.S.S.R. by Biopreparat. The NAEBR is - by far - the most advanced step in weaponized nanotechnology taken in this century. They are considered by all international, anti-weapons of mass destruction treaties to be illegal and not sanctioned by any current document held by any nation.
Construction
Researched and manufactored exclusively within the U.S.S.R., NAEBR's are a new form of biological nanotechnology. Each NAEBR is constructed from one of three viri: SARS-Cov, rabies, or West Nile virus. The actual virus characteristics do not matter, but what does matter is the ease to engineer and manipulate the individual virus cells into NAEBR's.
Exact means of construction are - as of yet - unknown to anyone except Biopreparat. However, through a process of elimination, a set of steps brought about by an independant biological laboratory has determined that more likely than not, the following are general daily construction steps:
- Harvest viri cells.
- Begin by manipulating the virus's DNA.
- Artificially add necessary bio-mechanical (artificially constructed biological components) components.
- Reprogram the virus's DNA for biological developement.
- Test self-replication ability.
- Procure necessary infestation quota.
- Inseminate amongst host.
Uses
The immediately known use for NAEBR is in weaponry; however, other uses such as cancer treatment, AIDS cures, etc. are being researched within the U.S.S.R.. Due to the NAEBR's' ability to be programmed to do almost anything, they can be used from cancer research, carbon destruction, and weaponized biological weapons to pesticides, cleaning agents, and waste destroyers.
