The nanakabird is a mytholgoical creature that lives in the Nanakan Forest in Nanakaland. Few have seen this rare creature, but its existance has been confirmed in recent years. Reports about it varry greatly. The following article will try to explain this mysterious bird.

Some say it is flightless and others say it can fly. Some say it is bigger than an eagle and others say it is small. However, it is generally agreeded that the nanakabird can fly and is bigger than an eagle. It has two different subspecies. The more common ecotype lives in the Nanakan Forest, but there has been a variation that lives in the Nanakan Highlands.

Myth claims that the nanakabird has magical powers and that if you possess a feather of a nanakabird, it will extend your life greatly. The two nanakabirds in captivity show no magical powers, but those who own nanakabird feathers have been said to live hundreds of years. It is all rumors, however.

Even though the nanakabird is the national animal of Nanakaland, few Nanakans have actually seen it. A photo of this bird is very rare and thus could not be found for this article. Scientists are on the verge of discovering many more facts about the nanakabird.
