Nanakaland Space Command

The 'Nanakaland Space Command (NSC) was established by Nanakaland when the government made a colony on the moon in the Second Age of Nanakaland. While Nanakland remained largely modern tech, the NSC's key location allowed it to develop more advanced technology and eventually reached future tech, making the modern tech Nanakaland have a future tech fleet (thus the term MultiTech was born).

Overview

Nanakaland Space Command over time developed a separate chain of command still under the Nanakan government but significantly different. The high admiral is in charge of all of the space fleets and space marines (the Nanakaland Space Navy and Nanakaland Space Force respectively). The equivilent to his rank in the rest of the fleet is admiral, but the high admiral has authority over the admirals. Under the high admiral is the commander, which is lesser than high admiral and admiral and rank but the second in command in the NSC. His rank is higher than commadore, but lower than admiral. Under the commander are the lesser officer rankings.

History

The NSC has always been based in the space station above the earth's moon, but it has changed greatly. At first, the leader of the NSC was the same leader of the main navy, High Admiral Nelson Clark. However, young Commander Thomas Johnson led the First Nanakaland Space Fleet in a mission outside the solar system. The NSC had been gaining technology until they were eventually able to have faster than light (FTL) technology. The design of the space ships were improved through the years and Commander Johnson, captain of the NSS Celestia, was able to go on adventures.

When the Stalkers attacked Nanakaland in the Intrepid Incident, Johnson was called off of his missions and combated the Stalker threats. There, he gained his glory and eventually became the second most powerful person in the NSC. When High Admiral Clark went rogue and stole the United Grand Celestial Glory, Johnson stopped him and the Nanakaland Admiral Space Fleet. He then became high admiral of the NSC and merged his First Nanakaland Space Fleet with the crippled Nanakaland Admiral Space Fleet. However, his victory was not without a price. His ship, the NSS Celestia was destroyed.

From the NSC, High Admiral Johnson looked for reforms. He improved the technology of the NSC (while most of Nanakaland remained modern tech) and helped design and build a new fleet from which an expidition to the outer reaches of the universe was possible. The new commander of the NSC to replace Johnson, who was promoted, was Commander Andrew Edwards, another veteran of the Intrepid Incident.

Ships Under the NSC

Fleets

The fleets are controlled by the NSC and go on missions supervised by the NSC. Most of them have some way of defending themselves, but their purposes vary. Often several unattached ships in the area are called to back up fleets.

Free (Unattached) Ships

The free ships of the NSC are NSC authorized ships that are unattached to a fleet. They are responsible to supplying their own corvette/fighter escorts and are less controlled than the fleets. If an unattached warship or even any ship with weapons is nearby, it may be called by the NSC to defend an unarmed or outnumbered NSC ship or fleet or risk losing their licence.

War Frigates: 33

Research Frigates: 21

Mining Frigates: 19
