The Democratic States of Nathaz is a nation currently run by prime minister Tulkas Verafor. Known for its economically powerful nation, It was founded in 1715 AD and since then grown a population of around 10 million citizens. 90% of the popualtion speaks English (the offical language), while the other 10% speak another undefined language. Its currency is the VERA (V>) which is the equivalent of $0.83 USD. Its capital is the trade city of Nathaz.

Founding

Nathaz was founded by Perst Vesende and his companions on a cruiseship during summer of 1715 AD. When they first arrived, The land had seemed to be empty, but Perst and his companions were ambushed by a group of cannibal natives of the land. They managed to escape and went to get reinforcements to battle the natives. They quickly won, losing very few casualties. The nation and capital city were called "Nathaz", named after the native camp.

Government

Kingdom to Democracy

Nathaz was originaly ran by Kings Vesende 1-24 until King Vesende 24 was attacked by their neighbouring nation. King Vesende's army eventually lost to the nation. Afterwards, the nation mergedwith the victor's nation. The name "Nathaz" stayed as the nation name. Since then, the its government has changed to Democracy.

Democracy

Nathaz has a parliamentary democracy with 501 seats. The three main parties are: The Republic Party(RPN), The Conservative Party of Nathaz (CPN), and The Democratic Party of Nathaz (DPN). They are overseen by the prime minister, who oversees all decisions made by the parties. The Prime Minister is allowed to have two stand-in Prime Minister, in-case he is sick, but if in an important situation, they are not allowed to act.

Elections

An election is held every two years, And the prime minister must be in one of the three main parties. Voting is voluntary, and you can donate money to political parties. The Prime Minister may be elected again, but once he serves 5 times as Prime Minister or reaches 50 years of age, he cannot run anymore. The current Prime Minister is Tulkas Verafor, who has served for 3 years. Usually, the Democratic Party of Nathaz wins, as they hold the most ideal decisions the citizen's want.
