Out of the random and volatile conversations that spawned from #nationstates on irc.esper.net, there came a very lighthearted idea, a comic about a kindergarten of child versions of NationStates rulers, kings, presidents.
At first Ren Myler, player of the not so well known NationState of Zvarinograd and an amateur artist, couldn't find the willpower (to defeat his obvious laziness) to actually create a comic. He was more interested in other trivial things at best, as in the case of him drawing pie when he had no money and was very hungry. (No, he did not eat the paper.)
