The 1491 Elections left the Casari Liberals and National Labor in a dead heat, leaving some question to who would be the next Prime Minister. Both parties pushed their party leaders for the position, but neither could win the majority necessary to claim the position. As the deadline for the election of a Prime Minister neared, the two parties managed to come to an agreement and nominated Meia Winter, then a first-term representative from the Carlisle Castle district, to the position of Prime Minister. The shock decision managed to draw the support of all three major parties, the Liberals and Labor happy that the other would not hold the top spot, while the NatCons were eager to lay claim to their first upper-government position in 60 years. The coalition government that ensued was rather unsuccessful at passing any needed legislation, which the charismatic Hunter was able to use her platform to blast the majority parties for not getting anything done, and even putting herself up for Votes of No Confidence on the grounds of the government's lack of success. While they naturally failed, the party managed to reform itself in the three years between elections and earned an overwelming majority in the 1494 elections. | The 1491 Elections left the Casari Liberals and National Labor in a dead heat, leaving some question to who would be the next Prime Minister. The National Conservative Party of Casari is the current majority party in the nation of Casari. After ninety years as the nation's third party, the National Conservatives (NatCons) broke back onto the national scene after a standoff in the nomination of a Prime Minister went to the final hours and a young first-term NatCon, Meia Winter, was nominated as a compromise. Since then, the NatCons used the position to transform their party to a socially progressive party with the majority of the youth support.

History
Formation
The Formation of the National Conservative party was in 1346, when they were formed as a right-wing alternative to the left-dominated politics of the era. After modest success in the 1348 Elections, the party moved more to the center and managed to narrowly win a plurality and push through a NatCon as Prime Minister.
Decline
After 90 years of success, a growing Labor party managed to replace the NatCons as Casari's second major party. During this period, the NatCons lived in a bit of a limbo, gathering more votes than the minor parties, but much less than the CasLibs and Labor.
Resurgance
