NDS - National Defence Systems - is the largest corporation in the Dominion of Upper Virginia and the largest denfence contractors in the entire Excalbian Isles. NDS was created in 1957 by the merger of three precursor companies - National Radio and Electronics Company, Halston Motor Corporation and Teledyne Rocketry Company.

The current Chairman of NDS is Forrest Turley, the Chairman of the Chamber of Indsutrials and the Chairman and CEO of NDS' biggest competitor, National AeroDefence. Turely succeeded Baxter Brandt, who had also served as Chairman of the Chamber of Industrials.
