History
The Collective Government of NeoAztec is a relatively middle age nation.
It was formed after a group of dissident citizens and the decedents of hidden Aztec soldiers got together. Seeking refugee, they moved to The Lexicon in order to find peace.
Way of Life
Contrary to popular belief, the NeoAztec are in relatively few ways compared to their ancestors. For one thing, they allow other religions to have their way in the region, but have no tolerance for cults that demand human sacrifice. Also they are Democratic Socialists, not a empire, for they have a president. While they are not the brutal war faring society of the old, they do take interest in other's conflicts. The citizens are allowed to be schooled till 18, although they can drop out. College is recommend to many, though not necessary. All men, however, must be trained for basic military service and have knowledge of basic arms. This ensures that if the need ever arises, that all men can be used in a military.
Government
The NeoAztec government is controlled by a president, who in turn has to go to the Parliament (filled with senators) and the Senate (two parts, House Of Tenochtitlan and the Congress) in order to pass any laws. It then is divided into more minor (state, county, city, ect.) government officials.
The goverment is based off of the United Kingdom/States governments, trying to please many. There are 5 main parties for government control. The Democrats (in control of the House Of Tenochtitlan), Republicans (Divided with Druidic party in Congress), Fascist (Who control 1/4 of Parliament), and the Druidic party based off of nature (one of the most interesting parties; works closely with several chapters of Aztec Church).
