Nevamba is a Kiravian governate located on the continent of Ankira.

History

The area that would become Nevamba was first inhabited by around 50 tribes from the Central part of the continent, who migrated in a time of warfare. When Kiravian settlers arrived, a great deal of prosperity was vrought to the inhabitants. The Kiravians taught them how to mine for copper and other minerals, and made them a writing system to record their history in. The first cities were built by Kiravian colonists, and industrialization began.

Under Imperial rule, the native way of life was preserved, although a good portion of natives went to work in the mines and factories, and to live in the cities.

Today, the nation is still economically successful, but many natives are beginning to resent the fact that most of the economy depends on the skills of the Kiravian population.

Geography

Nevamba's shoreline is a coastal desert. Further inland, there are areas of grassland and shrubland, and in the far west, a desert. A range of semiarid mountains cross the country from North to South, providing most of the nation's mineral wealth. Nevamba has 2 rivers, the Windhoek and the Clayford.
