New Boston is the energetic capital of Ceorana. With the major industry being the Ceoranan government, it is a hotbed of lobbyists, politics, and information technology industries. It is also home to the government of Ceorana, as it is the capital.
History
Before the move of the capital to New Boston in 2035, no one had ever heard of the city and it was generally regarded as a small, laid back town. However, when Fjord City pushed for the removal of the capital from Tzatzing, hoping that it would be moved to Fjord City, the plan backfired and the Senate voted to house it in New Boston. This led to a huge influx of people as all of the offices were moved to New Boston, and the city's economy spiked. It is yet unclear how this will affect Ceorana as a whole.
Geography
New Boston is located in the far north of Ceorana, cut off from the rest of the nation by the Konvensjon Mountains. However, a monorail goes through the mountains, and ship and air travel is also available. Since it is so far north, New Boston is also fairly cold, ranging from -11°C in the winter to 19°C in the summer.
