The Allied states of Nimali is the result of a new peace between 4 warring city states. The allaince was created to start fresh, and to create international awareness that the peoples in that country exist. The Nimalian people, of all 4 city states, are of similar descent, and exept for a few differences, are basically the same race. The four states are- Altria, Mastantine, Nox, and, Minari. The country is named after the ancient Nimali peoples of legend, said to be extremely technologically advanced, who are said to have been the founder of each city-state. Recently, The ancient city of Nimali has been found- and an expedition has been sent out to explore and uncover the secrets of the exrremly advanced city- the nations capital has been set there too.

History

This is the shortened history of Nimali.

Ancient Nimalian Era(2700 BCE - 119 BCE)

c.2700 BCE- Nimali Family become important and rich
c.2300 BCE- Ancient city of Nimnali is constructed by Nimalian descendants
1200 BCE- Altrian desendants of Nimali break off and start new city of Altria
1180 BCE- Nox desendants from Altria break off and create city of Nox
560-510 BCE- Nimali under seige from outer barbarians, Barbarians easily defended against using superior technology, Astantinians flee to create Astantine
120 BCE- Second seige of Nimali, Minarian Soldiers break off and don't settle in one place due to their belief that they are being used by the Nimalians.
119 BCE- Second siege of Nimali is won by the Nimalians, city is partially destroyed, Minarian army decides, unaware, to help Nimali, meet barbarians halfway there, learn of news, destroy barbarian army, and turn back.
114 BCE- An unknown plague ravages the entire advanced city of Nimali- no survivors found and city and it's technology are lost forever.

Era of the 4 cities (50 BCE - 750 CE)

50 BCE- Minarians settle down and build Minari
27 CE- Altrians find the Astantine city, believing it to be the ancient city of Nimali, they initiate contact but learn the truth, dissapointed, they leave, but with an uneasy peace
189 CE- Altrians contact the Nox city, and Altria and Astantine go to war for control of it.
230 CE- Altrians win the war with Astantine just outside Nox, on their way to claim the city, their forces are destroyed by a Nox defence system.
750 CE- Minari scouting forces come in contact with an Astantine farming colony, follow a trail of colonys to the city, where they finally meet the other 3 cities leaders.

Era of War (750 CE-1600 CE)

750 CE- At a meeting in Astantine between the four cities (due to Minari finally contacting), a coup is started by the Minarian soldiers that found the city, Minarian control of Astantine begins.
750 CE-879 CE- Minarian Crusades. Minari gains control of all Astantine outlying villages and towns, and Half of Altria's land.
880 CE- Altria goes to war with Minari at Astantine, they gain control of Astantine and some of theirs and Astantines land back.
1130 CE- Altria tries to gain control of Nox, they fail due to the defence system, and are forced to hand back all of Astantines land and city back to the Fled Astantines, who were hiding in Nox.
1130 CE- 1450 CE- Many battles are faught between the 3 warring states0- resulting in a short occupation of Altria by Minari, lasting only 7 weeks.
1450 CE- Altria regains control of city.
1450-1560 CE- Minor Battles resulting in the Large battle of Noxlands, faught outside the city of Nox, in the battle Altria, Astantine and Minari tried to gain control of Nox at the same time, Nox defence system is upgraded and many are killed along with the fighting.
1600 CE- Leaders of the cities meet to sign the Peace treaty.

Era of Flourishment (1600 CE- 2006 CE)

During this period the alliance has been created. Also, the lost city of Nimali has been found- and the Government has decided to send out an expedition to uncover the sevcrets. Also, the capital of the alliance is in that city.

Government

At the moment, the new nation is under the control of the Nimalian alliance, an alliance of the four states put together to govern the country. In the alliance, there is a strong sense of power given to the states, and less to the country itself. The main system of laws for the Alliance is the Nimalian Constitution of Treaties

Structure of the Alliance

There are 4 permemnant seats in the alliance, those of the leaders of each of the states. Recently, due to the recoveration of the city of Nimali, the city has been chosen as the capital and the leader of the expedition has been chosen to have the fifth seat in the alliance.

The four officials of the states are-

States

The nation of Nimali is actually an alliance of four Nimalian City-states, these are,

Altria

This is the most commercialised city in the nation. With the highest population, it boasts the status as the most popular and rich city in the alliance. At the center of the city is the great Altrian park- a refuge to those who want to relax in the busy city. In the past, Altria has always been the most commercial city in the alliance, and also the most politically important city- proposing the original treaty of Unification.

Nox

Nox is the peaceful city-state, with the lowest population in the whole alliance. However, it is known as the "city of enlightenment", as it is home to the most educated and peaceful people in the alliance, It is the only state that hasnt ever offensively acted against another city, so it has no army, but it has a strong and complicated defense system, stretching many miles around the city- being the least corrupted city in terms of culture in the alliance, it is said to be the closest you can get to the ancient Nimalian culture.

Astantine

Originally a center of agriculture, Astantine is now the most technologically advanced city in the alliance- serving as the industrial center of the nation. However, it still retains it's agricultural status, as it has over 100 neighboring villages and towns in it's control that are mainly based around farmland and agriculture. It is also home to the medical center of the alliance, the headquarters of the Nimalian hospital system.

Minari

Minari is, and always has been, the most military city in the alliance. It has a bloody history of war and war and more war. Also, it was/is the home of the best military system in the nation- the Minarian Militia, famous for conquering the most of the land in the alliance, and the most number of other towns and villages.

Nimali

The ancient city of nimali, now found and under contril of the expedition, is the nations capital. Home to ancient knowledge , the city is being explored. It shows promising potential for having great technology.
