Introduction

The Grand Conservative Party leader, David Harlan, entered talks with the Industrial Nationalist Foundation in March 2006 following the 14th Niplomian General Election. Together the parties had the support of around 8% of the population. During the 'March Talks' the two parties agreed on several points between the parties:

  • Both parties opposed immigration levels
  • Both parties wished for a return to traditional values
  • Both parties are authrtarian and support a centralized Government
  • Both opposed Communism

Harlan and the INF saw that if they were to work together they would share a common ground. Indeed, a few years ago 'United Right' was a Failegn based Coalition that contained the two. However, there were some differances in the two:

  • INF believes there to be a supremacy for white-Niplomians
  • GCP is an old-fashioned Conservative party which had free market views where as some INF members had a 'worker only' Red agenda

However, these gaps were not seen as large differances. Harlan united the two parties along with others in April 2006. The GCP and INF effectively ceased to be.

Members

There are six full members of the Coalition who work alongside two semi-members. Full members effectively are abosrobed into the Coalition where as semi-members may only join the Coalition at certain levels but remain as a party. For example, Failegn First is a semi-member and contest Failegn elections alone. However, nationally its supporters vote for Niploma First and FF members may stand as NF Deputies/ Senators.

Full Members

  • Grand Conservative Party - The largest party in the Coalition. Dissolved upon creation of NF. Prior to this it was the only surviving original party in Niploma. A suprising member due to it being not racist and 'merely' nationalistic and conservative.
  • Industrial Nationalist Party - A fascist working class party.
  • Radicals - A white-supremacist party.
  • Front - A traditionalist nationalist party situated in northern Niploma.
  • No-UN - Single issue anti-UN party.
  • Democratic Business Party - A centre-right party, similiar to to GCP.

Semi-Members

  • Southern Unionist Party - Anti-seperatist and nationalistic. Links to paramilitarism.
  • Failegn First - Authortarian party in Failegn.

Policies

Due to the coalitions mix of far-right parties and simply neo-liberal business parties Niploma First's vision for Niploma is a mix of views. However, Harlan has hinted at various points in his speeches which has lead to an informal list of policies.

Centralized Government - NF has promised the dissolution of the Senate and any chance of a southern-Niplomian legislature. Some NF Deputies have mentioned a dissolution of the Democratic House.

Protect Business - A speech by Harlan to a small-business commitee promised protection to small business. However, in GCP days Harlan was increadibly pro globalsiation and big business. The NF may well support small Niplomian business yet appears to recougnise big-business will be needed in order to grow a thriving economy.

Foreign Threat - Leading NF Deputy James Conolly exclaimed, 'Immigrants have invaded Niploma'. Harlan too backs this up promising to 'close off borders'. In private interviews some NF members and Deputies have said the 'removal of under-classes' was needed to perfect Niploma.

Strength Abroad - Harlan is very pro Defence spending. He, along with all NF members, are anti-UN and suspicious of The Anumist Alliance.

Worker Solidarity - To stop Communist support NF has set up sport clubs and food halls to support Niploma's less fortunate. This is seen as a way to create a support base and be seen as better than rivals, Official Communist Workers Party.

Revamp of Budget - Besides increasing defence spending the NF has hinted at huge tax-cuts. Money would also be re-directed at Commerce and Social Welfare.

As of yet no single manifesto has been created by Niploma First.
