Nortek Alliance

Established by Prime Minister Istvan Nortek of the Republic of Nurakai and President Boris Nortek of the Protectorate of Sklo, the Alliance was a last-ditch attempt at avoiding an all-out war between the two neighboring nations. Alliance members now enjoy a "free border" -- that is, no official border between countries, and unrestricted trade and access to both -- and, in some cases, dual citizenship. No trade tariffs are enforced within Alliance trade, as well as assistance of any kind is freely given and shared. In times of war, both countries work together to ensure the mutual defense of both nations, and in peacetime, both countries work together to research cutting edge defensive technologies.

Membership within the Alliance is open to any member of The Dominion that is physically located next to either country.
