Officially known Les Etats Unis Socialistes de North-West Antarctica, NWA is a bilingual(French, English) nation of nearly 5 billion citizens. Its possessions include a ring on the northernmost fringe of the western half on antarctica, and territories within the region of Sisgardia. It has a history of environmental responsibility, contributing as much as one third of its national budget to preserving and developing the natural ecology of the planet. Other main focuses of North-West Antarcticans include social equality and education, consistantly ranking high in the UN "Smartest Citizens" rankings. North-West Antarctican citizens live almost entirely underground, primarily due to the low impact on local biospheres. N-W Antarcticans have long focused on finding new, innovative ways to live and produce that do not adversely effect the environment. The entire country actually cleans more air than it pollutes, and has been fossil fuel free since the early days of its founding. Electrical generation is primarily through tidal, solar, and fusion power generation. North-West Antarctica previously had a large focus on extra-terrestrial technology, but has since focused on more down to earth issues. It is currently a leader in residential, commercial, and transportation technology in the region. Phase-space technology was pioneered and perfected in North-West Antarctica, then put to more practical uses in local transportation technology. Genesis-plant veg-food producing equipment was first produced in Antarctica. Many more technologies have come from the brilliant minds of North-West Antarctica.
