Overview
History
Originating in the Balkans, this large nation soon conquered vast areas along the Mediterranean. With its own race the Cadian (Earth AV) race this nation was powerful and rich. However jealousy and fear at its rapid expansion caused a huge war in which most of the world attacked North Cadia (sometimes called New Cadia), the rash decision of President Malafestazian (Earth AV) to conscript the majority of the populace of the nation caused a huge economic collapse and a revolution. All of North Cadia's original land was lost, as the revolutionaries abandoned their land when the attacking ISAF (Earth AV) forces refused to allow them any leeway (thus declaring war on the revolutionaries.)
The Republic of North Cadia
Under the command of a one Artimus Lutzek (Earth AV) the revolutionaries annexed Tunisia, Algeria and Libya to form a new democratic government. However Lutzek was not content and attempted to seize power, the result of which was a war between the Republic of North Cadia and The Commonwealth (Earth AV). The fighting was futile and Lutzek committed suicide, leaving The Commonwealth (Earth AV) to conquer the Republic. All but Tunisia was conquered by The Commonwealth (Earth AV).
The Patriarchy
This was a twighlight zone, where remnants of the North Cadian revolutionaries set up a nation, run by a council of Patriarchs. This nation was largely secretive, however controlled the world's largest stockpile of weapons, that were left over from the fallen Empire and Failed Republic. They started annexing the Balkan states, then Algeria and Libya were ceded to them by The Commonwealth (Earth AV).
The Restart
After the recent restart the player North Cadia claimed western Europe to for a nation called The West EU (Earth AV).
