Not Very Interesting

The island of Not Very interesting is...well, a rather dull place. The former home of a singularly dull ancient culture that never bothered even attempting to contact contemporary Mopervillian civilisations, it is now a barren, rocky, windswept wasteland. No one is quite sure what actually happened to the island's old inhabitants, but no one really cares either. It's generally assumed that they all died out simply because they had nothing to do.

The semi-arctic land is now international neutral territory, a status recognised by all Moperville nations (and theoretically their deities as well). A terrible complex concrete jungle has been erected close to a natural harbour and a small airport built, and it is in here that conferences such as the Not Very Interesting Convention are held.
