Nzanga Mobutu Ngbangawe (b. March 24, 1970), originally François Joseph Nzanga Mobutu Ngbangawe, is the eldest son of President Mobutu Sese Seko and his former mistress (now wife), Bobi Ladawa. Known for his soft-spoken, gentle nature, he is regarded as having a non-threatening, incorruptible demeanor (an ambassador once described him as "a garter snake in a nest of cobras"). Married to Cathy Bemba, he has three children. He attended primary and secondary school in Belgium, and later attended both Universite de Montreal and American University in Paris, where he studied International Affairs. He is currently Deputy Secretary General of the MPR and minister of post and telecommunications.
