O Boyce

In the begining of the nation, settlers from Earth traveled many hundred of light years to the planet now called Merriwether. After about a year of hard work and struggling, the settelers were able to scratch out a decent colony on the planet and began to set up a decent government and named their nation Boyctinius. For almost a hundred years the colony thrived. Untill, for some unknown reason the colony was abandoned. Another hundred of years later, the people, perhaps from the original colony, came back to the planet and set up another type of government.

This new nation became known as Pokos, and was once again a wonderful and thriving colony. For over two hundred years the colony became strong and built apon the ruins of the many old Boyctinus citys. The people were proud to be part of such a legacy. The colony became it's own nation and hefted a strong military presence in many of the nearby starsystems. In the last ten years of the nation, terrorists began plotting a massive attack on the capital, Pokos city. When the time came, the detonated a nuclear device that anihalated the city and a civil war broke out. Many people fled to the countryside as the fighting raged on the ground and in orbit. After four years of fighting, both sides were to exsausted to fight anymore and the fighting stopped.

In the last fifty years, a new government sprang up, and started to put together the peices of the nation. They named the new nation O Boyce. They quickly put started to rebuild. The fist thing that was put back together was the carpet of orbital defence stations and shipyards in orbit. Followed by the city's, the agriculture, and then the military. Quickly the nation began to pull together. In recent history, the nations government decided to join the UNSC in a move to protect the planet, and to help rebuild. With the all the new resources and support, the ASDB has been able to pump out a good deal of ships for the UNSC fleet and has been able to complete the top seceret WASP project that had sat in orbit since the end of the Pokos age.
