Olmex

The Olmex

The Olmex are a civilization, religion, ideology and regime that destroyed the nation of the Pyrenees in the Union of the Spanish Nations. They were led by by the Emperor Menitor and tried to conquer nations of the region who then fled to Euskalherria.

Beliefs

The Olmex believed in the divinity of the Emperor who is powered by the Sun. They believed in ritual sacrifice, scarring themselves and cutting all their hair to distinguish themselves. They believe in no religious harmony and complete domination. They also believed they are descended from the first nation of NationStates Maxtopia. A schism arose in the Olmec beliefs when a splinter group known as the Kalmec believed in that the Emperor and the Sun where different entities whereas the mainstream Olmec belief insisted that the Emperor Menitor and the Sun were the same.

The Demise

As the Olmex were banned in the newly created region of Euskalherria, their civilization ceased to flourish and shortly after conquering the Pyrenees, their Empire was destroyed by the nation of Natalie Oreiro. However cells and adherents still exist in Euskalherria especially in JunoMitsu and Grischun.
