The Operation Free Bird was a military operation, planned to liberate the President of the United States of Edward City, Albert Mainzer, who was incarcerated at the Bellavista Prison at Edward City D.C. waiting for his execution.

Background

The March 28, protests against communist URF nations began in Edward City and quickly turned into riots. Using the riots, the People's Party President, Alexis Hillaware lead a coup d'état and overthrown democratically elected President Albert Mainzer who left Edward City via helicopter. While he was 2 miles away from WDyW's border, his helicopter was shot down and some minutes after a group of Army men captured and took him back to the capital, where he was incarcerated and condemned to execution by a firing squad for the 31st March.

Operation

The March 31 at 9:00 AM, 15 paratroopers landed at Bellavista Prison's rooftop and penetrated prison's security level and managed to arrive to Albert Mainzer and took him back to the rooftop for extraction. During the operation, three Paratroopers and twenty-six Prison Guards died but Albert Mainzer, and several other government officials where released from the prison.
