The Most Noble and Most Ancient Order of the White Wolf is the oldest order of chivalry in Aerion, existing before the Monarchy. It is rumored to have its origin in the Order of the White Wolf, an group of wise men and warriors who interacted with the northern tribes. Some scholars say the Order of the White Wolf was similar to the Druids of the Celts. King Wasterin I revived it and instituted it as a secular order. It is the second highest order of prestige.

Classes

Grand Cross Class

Commander Grand Cross - wears the badge on a collar or on a sash on the right shoulder, the grand cross on the left chest. Reserved for immediate family of the Monarch, and close foreign Royalty. (CGCW)

Grand Cross— wears the badge on a collar or on a sash on the right shoulder, plus the grand cross on the left chest. Reserved for members of the Royal Family, foreign Heads of State, foreign Royalty (Kings, Grand Dukes, Prince/Princesses etc.)(GCW)

Commander Class

Knight Commander-wears the lesser cross on the left chest, and the badge on a necklet. Reserved for foreign Heads of Government, Heads of Religions, Great Officers of State of Aerion, and other equal positions (KCW)

Knight Class

Grand Knight-wears the badge on a ribbon with rosette on the left chest. Reserved for Royal Government Ministers, Royal Advisors, Foreign Government's Ministers, Gold Medalists, individuals of very high esteem. (GKW)

Knight-wears the badge on a ribbon (gentlemen) or on a bow (ladies) on the left chest. Reserved for very important Royal Government officials, Foreign Ambassadors from close nations, individuals of high esteem (KW)

Insignia

The collar of the order is of gold. It consists of white enameled golden wolves connected by golden chains studded in diamonds.

The badge of the order is an golden white wolf rampant enameled in white with diamond accents, and ruby eyes for the Grand Cross Class. It is worn according to the class and grade of the wearer.

The grand cross of the order is an white enameled maltese cross centered by the wolf rampant with the phrase, "Lupus Albus". Intersected between the arms of the cross are the fleur de lis. It is studded in small diamonds.

The lesser cross of the order is an white enameled maltese cross the same as the grand cross excepting the fleur de lis.

The sash (or ribbon) of the order is silk white. It is worn on the left shoulder with the badge hanging from the end on the right. The ribbon is worn on the left chest.

The mantle of the order is an white velvet with ermine lining within, tied with black tassles. On the left shoulder of the mantle the Grand or Lesser Cross of the order is depicted for Grand Crosses and Commanders.
