Ouph

The Ouphes are a variety of Elves. The only identified population of them that exists today lives amongst the Human inhabitants of Godwinnia and the former Godwinnian colonies, has intermarried with those humans, and is now outnumbered in those populations not only by the Humans (who are by far the most numerous kind of sapient beings within all of those nations) but also by people of mixed Human & Ouph ancestry. They are descended from the children whom some of the men that the Titan Prometheus had shaped from clay fathered on various Nymphs.
Most Ouphes are indistinguishable from Humans (of either the 'Mediterranean' type or the "North-West European" one) in appearance, although a small proportion of them do possess various non-human features (such as hair that is naturally green in colour) due to the supernatural side of their race's ancestry: They do not have the pointed ears that are typical of some other types of Elves. Their natural life-expectancy is about three times that of Humans.
