The Pacific Islands is a small region but it is growing. It is a collection of many islands and it is located mostly in the +12 GMT zone or +13 during DST.

History
Before the Europeans
From around 200 AD to 600 AD several peoples from Polynesia migrated to the large archiplago. They were divided into several tribes. Different tribes landed on every island and each ha there own way of living. They lived in peace and war with only one another for more than a millenia.
Age of Colonies
From around 1600 to 1800 several european countries took over the islands. France owned what is now Uiri, Spain owned what is now Riopo and England oned pretty much everything else. Soon after King Louis XVI was executed, Uiri became independant.
Uiri was then taken over by the English. The English were entangled in South-East Asia which delayed the time it took for them to take their next target: Riopo. After the Spanish-American War Spain sold Riopo to the Dutch and England attacked. The result was The English and Dutch being thrown out.
Independance
Several new countries emerged. The islands which are now Zhonghua Renguo were uninhabitated save for some lush forests and exotic jungle creatures until the founding of Taiwan. The Chinese Imperialists, a rather unknown group that lurked in the shadows cast by the Chinese Republicans that colonizewd Taiwan and thus Zhonghua Renguo was born, colloqially known as New China.
Most of the islands of the Pacific Islands have kept to themselves though some have waged minor wars. The closest the Pacific Islands came to a full-scale regional war with the Capitalist Pacific Island, a region that is now extinct after an agreement between the two regions and the merging of the two regions' nations into the Pacific Islands. Currently, the Pacific Islands is control of three territories, Warzone Asia, Adelaide Resort, and Pacific Islands Defence Force.
Politics
The Politics of Pacific Islands are made up of three tiers. These consist of Parliament, Cabinet and the High Council.
Parliament
Parliament is where a representitive of a chosen Party (Democrats or Blues) from every nation in the Region, if they wish to attend, meet at the Solen HGI (House of Governmental Issues) to discuss matters the are in and around the Region.
How it Works
The Chair and Head of the High Council, which is the Founder of the Region, stands up and announces what the First Debate is, then Sits back down.
The Spokesman for the FOR part of the Debate stands up and explains why the other representitives should vote FOR
then, the spokesman for the AGAINST part of the Debate stands up and explains to other representitives should vote AGAINST
Then, the floor is open to express other peoples ideas on the matter, but it must follow the FOR-AGAINST-FOR code.
at the end the High Council and Imperial Minister vote for either FOR or AGAINST the matter
The Cabinet
The Cabinet is chosen by the Imperial Minister to solve smaller issues and to attand Regional Parliamentary meeting as the 'Minister to who it concerns' and to express his/her feelings on the matter before the Spokesman of the FOR side speaks.
