Paruvia is a province in the southeastern portion of Mainland Bedistan. Notable cities in Paruvia include its capital, Dennis, and Carter. The state of Paruvia was formed in 2004 when the original state of Columbia was renamed to Paruvia and the national capital, Columbia, became independent of any state. Paruvia was thus effectively one of Bedistan's original thirteen states. All of Bedistan's states, Paruvia included, were reclassified as provinces in 2070 when Bedistan became part of Atlantian Oceania.
