After lengthy talks regarding a Coalition prior to the By Election many members were commited to a Centre-Left Coalition.

Policies

Upon creation of the People's Coalition the two founding parties, SIP and EFP, made a list of policies which ar the 'Foundation of the Party'.

  • To be caring towards the Enviroment,
  • To be supportive of the UN,
  • To be Peaceful,
  • To be Liberal in outlook,
  • To have be economically Left Wing in outlook,
  • To not be extreme,
  • To create a fairer, better, stronger Niploma for all.

Election

Due to sheer weight of numbers the People's Coalition can expect an easy win against Libertarian rivals, the Libertarian Reform Party. Analysts predict up to 50% of the vote share to be won by the party, and up to 35% going to the LRP.

Leadership

An election is currently being fought within the Coaliton for political leadership of the Coalition.

  1. Adráin Robert - Leader of SIP and very experianced
  2. Éibhear Elwes - Leader of EFP and young and respected
  3. Odhrán Torin - SIP Deputy. Youthful and liked.
  4. Francis Gardner - Liberal Party Leader. Unknown but vibrant.

First Round

  • Elwes 34%
  • Torin 25%
  • Robert 23%
  • Gardner 18%

Gardner ejected.

Second Round

  • Elwes 43%
  • Torin 39%
  • Robert 18%

Torin and Elwes foward to contest Leadership position. Robert declares support for Torin.

Leadership Round

  • Torin 55%
  • Elwes 45%

Torin becomes Leader of People's Coalition

President Round

Remaining contestents battle for Presidential position.

Elwes steps down and declares 'Robert to be more suited to the job.' Robert becomes President.

Council

The People's Coalition has a newly appointed Council of 22 members. The twenty-two consist of President and Leader of each individual party.
