Rebellion of '06
After ascending the throne on 3 May, 2006, Peter resinded his promise of free elections. On the 12 of June, rioting turned into an attempted revolution. After several weeks of fighting, the Imperial Army, under Simon Lord Grant, crushed the rebel army at the Battle of Brandock, bringing to an end the Rebellion of '06, and securing Peter II's absolute rule.
Support of Tianech
In 2007, when a rebellion broke out against Emperor Paul of Tianech, Peter and his cousin, the former Kief of Hekloslogravia, James, traveled there to help Paul subdue the rebels. Despite Peter's attempts to save Tianech's monarchy, Paul was soon overthrown, leading to an international embassisment for Peter.
In Fiction
In N. Pigeon's Imperial series of books, Peter is installed as Emperor Peter I of Dancing Bananland, the third Hekloslogravian puppet emperor of Dancing Bananland from 2005 until 2007. He aslo briefly reigns as Emperor Peter I of Hekloslogravia in 2007.
