Phoenix Dynamix Security

Phoenix Dynamix Security is an independent division of Phoenix Dynamix INC. It is one of the largest divisions since it is directly responsible for security of every Phoenix Dynamix facility in every country around the world and in The Phoenix Milita. The government also contracts Phoenix Dynamix Security personnel as body guards for ambassador, to free up the often over taxed KOP. The Security division's experience in guarding overseas factories, which are often the only point of contact that foreign citizens have with The Phoenix Milita, made them an ideal choice to provide supplemental security at the nations many embassies.

Visible Security Guards

Visible security guards or VSGs, are those guards who would actually be seen by anyone visiting or passing by Phoenix Dynamix facilities or Phoenix Milita embassies. They are lightly armed but highly trained and always wear a near full suit of medium body armor, which can be concealed under a work uniform or business style suit. Requirements to be a visible security guard in an embassy or overseas facility are as follows.

Age: 21-32

Height: 5'11"-6'2

Weight: 180lbs-245lbs (must pass body fat % test)

Hair: not gray, not dyed, standard haircut (not bald)

Tattoos: none visible when wearing shorts and tank top (other than Phoenix military shield tattoo on shoulder)

Skin Color: Skin color is determined by a simple contrast scale. Light skinned Africans may be eligible, while excessively tanned Europeans may be ineligible. Actual race or religion is not a factor.

Physical Fitness: In addition to body fat % test, guard must be able to run 2 miles in 14 minutes or less, pull up their own body weight 10 times using only their arms and hold their breath for at least 2 full minutes.

The exact number of personnel is classified but based on recent weapons purchases, there are at least 300,000 visible guards actively employed. This is in addition to surveillance teams, rapid response teams, command and control elements, specialized teams such as underwater security divers, and other miscellaneous personnel.

Rapid Response Teams

Rapid Response Teams or RRT, spend most of their time in a central security room, bunker, or outpost, watching TV and playing board games. When a security breach occurs however, they spring into action. These guards are more heavily armored and armed, and they also use higher numbers to their advantage. There are many more personnel employed as RRT than VSG, but they just as well trained -- although the requirements to join aren't as strict.

Phoenix Dynamix Security tries to use concealable weapons not in common use by the military and not, but it is difficult to find effective weapons that have not been procured by The Phoenix Military Nevertheless, Phoenix Dynamix Security uses a few unique weapons along with its military hardware. Phoenix Dynamix Security tries to issue weapons that do not chamber or fire the same ammunition as the weapons produced in the factory do, for security reasons. So for example, if a factory was producing 6.66mm AR-66 silent assault rifles, the guards would make sure to carry 4.9mm or 5.7mm PDW's instead of assault rifles, though in some situations it can't be helped.

Phoenix Dynamix Mercenaries

Phoenix Dynamix Mercenaries were elite paramilitary soldiers trained in sabotage, small unit tactics, infiltration, assault and even riot control. The going rate was $2,000 per day, not including ammunition fee, vehicle rental fee, fuel fee, transportation fee, meal fee, medical fee and hazard pay. Each individual mercenary was paid a salary of $12,000 per year, plus $1,000 of their per day rental rate, which means a mercenary who worked for just 3 months could make over $100,000. They were only hired once in the history of their 2 year existence. 100 mercenaries were hired out to the nation of "Destructo Killem" for a week long mission. The mission succeeded but highlighted certain liabilities inherent in the mercenary business, and Phoenix Dynamix subsequently closed the division down. The official position is that the division was disbanded and that all of the mercenaries were laid off, but many rumors suggest that all assets and employees were all absorbed into Phoenix Dynamix Security.
