Chamberlain of the Emissaries and Ambassador to Greater Tomania

Pietro Dystra is a career member of the Morindiran Chamber of Emmisaries, with the rank of Chamberlain. On 14 April 2002 he was appointed to the Ambassadorship of Greater Tomania, and on 8 July 2004 he was appointed the office of Chamberlain of the Emissaries. He still retains the office of Ambassador to Tomania. Dystra served from 1990 until 1996 as Assistant to the Ambassador to Dracoriana and was Ambassador to Dracoriana from 1996 until 2002.

Dystra earned a B.A. in History from Framindol Academy. He earned a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in International Relations from Oxford University, where he studied as a Marshall Scholar. He is the recipient of three honorary doctoral degrees. He speaks English, Russian, Quenya Elvish, Spanish, Swedish, Sindarin Elvish, Italian, Engelvish and French in addition to his native Hebrew. He is the recipient of two Praetorian Distinguished Service Awards and a number of M'Chaia Party awards, including two Distinguished Honor Awards, the Valin-DuMoulin Award, and five Superior Honor awards. In 2002, he was named to TIME Magazine's list of the "50 Most Promising World Leaders Under Age 40", and to TIME's list of "100 Young Global Leaders." To date, Pietro holds the highest office any man has ever held in Morindira.

In 1999 Pietro married Marina LaSiritas of Dracoriana. They have one daughter, T’allia Dystra-LaSiritas.
