HISTORY p.a
Piglatnia was started after the civil war of 1991. The war was started because of a nickname: In 1990 the goverment of Higle decided to divide its growing nation into two parts: Pig and Latania. The names stemming from their language and main agricultural product. The new leader of pig, Alpho Soup had a speech disorder which caused him to speak in the language we know today as Piglatin, with one slight difference: the root word was in Latin not English. the only person who knew how to translate it was Alpho's devoted wife who, in dispare for her new province, made it law that everyone learn the new language. the language wasn't too hard to learn but it was fun and addictive, by 1991 the entire province of pig gave up plain Latin and spoke their new form that they dubbed Platin. But this worried the latanians because it showed independance, which could mean that Pig would leave. And if Pig left it would mean the crippling of Latania. So the Latanians decided to give the new language a nickname: piglatin, this nickname greatly insulted the users of the language. But, instead of diminishing the urge to seperate, it angered the Piggians and they took to war. Later it was dertirmined that war was not necesary but at this time they took it as a direct insult to there leader. the war was not long or bloody but a few hundred did die. The war only lasted 2 months for the reason that Latania was made mostley of "born into wealth" families that did not like hard work, so they did not have many inlisties. The treaty was signed 2 weeks after the comanding general of Latania surrendered, on august,14,1991.

The name piglatnia came from the combination of the provinces names and in memory of the people who died the name piglatin was given to there new language a revision of platin.
1991-Alpho was crowned The first king of Piglatnia at age 51
1998-Alpho died at age 59
1998-Alpho's son, Tomato, was crowned king at age 30
2000-small conflict breaks out among the goverment and people againt monarchy(P.A.M): 20 casualties in all, P.A.M thought to be stamped out.
2020-P.A.M resurfaces with more folowers, Tomato is asasinated and his step-son takes leadership.
2020-Green rotten-soup crowned 3rd king of Piglatnia under 100 show up for corination
2025-nephew of tomato is found, Cold soup, most people say he is true heir to the crown. those who claim to publicly disapear.
2026-evidence is found tieing Green rotten-soup with P.A.M and asasination of Tomato.
2030-civil war breaks out but is ended quickly do to lack of moral and constant side switching in battle.
2031-Explosion wipes out entire govermentle staff. Almost unanimous vote for cold soup to become king.
2031-Cold soup is crowned king but then changed his title to president soup. Months later parliment passes the new constituition and Piglatnia goes to a democracy.
