One of the most secretive teams in the UAR League. Originally sponsored by the Meglatech Corporation, now by the company that merged with it, Hexion Technologies, this team has also been linked in the past, though denied, with the Super Roman government itself. Consequently the Piranha team has access to almost unlimited resources at its disposal and a great deal of influence in the Roman sporting sector.
With the "Pulse" arena as its testing grounds, the sleek Red and Yellow craft can often be seen navigating the complex course. The Piranha team is renowned for its sheer attention to speed and agility. As such the craft is made entirely of lightweight alloys and fibres to ensure the highest top speed possible, though this will innevitably lead to many other vessels attempting to eliminate the threat early on. Piranha has, since the foundation of UAR in Super Rome, dominated the other teams and looks set to pose a formidable challenge to those on the international stage.
A strong rivalry has developed between Piranha and Feisar of Friendly Aliens. Heavy emphasis on appearance and style contrasts the Piranha team ethos, which focus's purely on the race at hand. Feisar has been branded by Piranha CEO Christopher Marchant as "a disgrace to UAR", "a mockery of the UAR sporting world" and "an utterly inefficient operator". Piranha has also allegedly signed formed some sort of agreement regarding both teams interaction with Feisar.
