Pli Granda Hungario was formed after a violent revolution to overthrow an extreme Fascist government that attempted to pass off as Communist. The country encompassed not only present day Pli Granda Hungario, but a vast eastern nation. Today, nothing of that regime remains, and the cities that were destoryed during the war, are now outlying villages headed by a technocratic ruler raiding Pli Granda Hungario borders.
Politics
The Popolo of Pli Granda Hungario is a Federal Indirect Democracy that emphasises a mixed economy leaning towards Socialism. Memories of the revolution has created this soft form of socialism in the country.
There are three branches of Government: A Tricamial Legislature(makes the laws), The People's Court(Interprets the laws), and the Executive(enforces the laws)
The Legislature is made up of The Council of Geniocrates(intellectual elites), Countal Representatives(Representatives besed on the individual county's population), and The Senate(Each county sends two representatives). The members of the Council of Geniocrats' members are made up of experts of the various sciences, and humanities. Each category gets one representative and one vote. When the Geniocrates have there first meeting of the term, they will elect the head of the council (procouncil), who will settle all ties. The Council members are elected by the Court of Professorers, and get a new one is selected every two years. Geniocrats may have unlimited term years. For every 200,000,000 citizens in each region, that region may sent one representative to the Countal represenatives. Representative members are elected directly by the region's citizens every four years, and may have a maximum of three terms. When the Representatives first meet dureing the term, they will elect a speaker of the house who will settle all ties. Each region may send two senators to the senate (currently 84 members), and a new one will be elected every nine years, and each senator gets one term. the senator's are elected by the regional council. The Co-president will settle all ties.
The People's Court are the judges and courts that settle disputes. The Imperative People's Court is the highest court in the land, and approves the various amendments. Imperative judges serve for life, and are directly selected by the People's President. There may be no more then nine imperative judges on council.
The President of the People is elected every seven years by the Electoral Colledge, who are inturn elected by the citizens. The president may have at most two terms. The president may have a co-president,selected by him, who will be the head of the senate and settle any vote that comes out as a tie.
Religion
Public practice of religion is outlawed, and the government advocates private worshipping as opposed to createing expensive places of worship. Religion is not normaly a problem as 90% of the population are athiests, agnostic, and deist.
Economy
Pli Granda Hungario is a mixed economy that favors socialism. There is no minimum wage, and taxes are based on sales tax, which are much higher for the wealthy.
Military
Pli Granda Hungario, situated at the edge of Central europe, encounters very many hostile tech tribes, which are able to deploy advanced weapons. The government has increased spending on its armed forces since the time this government begane, with no end in sight.
The military is made up of the:
-Black Army: deals with ground and airial threats to national security. Chief Marshel Krokov is the current secretary of the Black Army
-The Merchant's Navy: deals with water overseas threats. Fleet Admiral Dale is the current secretary of the Merchant's Navy.
-The Sturmmfront Infantry: Shock troopers, heavey infantry, Bertha Artillary, the Sturmmfront Infantry is at the head of every offensive battle. First one in, first one out. Chief Thormaistro Istvan is the current secretary of the Sturmmfront Infantry.
-Border Gaurd: They are a combination of army, navy, and airforce. Their mission is to protect the nation's homelands from invasion, and donot occupy enemy territories. General Lajos is the current secretary of the Border Gaurd.
