Party Leader(s) Description Percentage of the vote Seats in the Congress
Imperial Party of Greater Footballia Xoñ Wirias The first party, the IPGF favors keeping the Overlord in power, and is the second-largest party in the nation. It is important to differenciate between the IPGF and the CFP. The IPGF favors Imperial power, though with a Congress and some rights to minorities. The IPGF has been out of power since Bill Newman. 46% 133
Footballian Liberal Democratic Party John Thompson The FLDP formed soon after the Constitution was ratified, and favors a true democracy, without an Overlord. On anything, the FLDP favors a vote of the people, and thus is a popular party in some respects, yet many do not wish anything so democratic. The FLDP became extremely unpopular in the 30s, because it was seen as the cause of the Great Depression. However, with the exception of two terms, it has been the largest party. 47% 136
Conservative Footballian Party Ñor Ço The CFP formed after the Civil War. The leaders of this party support absolute power for the Overlord and for the smaller nationalities to become basically slaves. This is different from the IPGF in that the CFP does not favor a parliament. The CFP has never been especially popular, especially in the provincial area, which is why nearly all of its supporters live in the State of Footballia. 1% 3
Footballian Socialism Xoñ Robeç The FS is in favor of Socialism, and thus is not high on the list of parties corporations donate to. Because so much of Greater Footballia is dominated by corporations, the FS is not a popular party. Also, while other companies receive much corporate funding, the FS receives virtually none. 5% 15
Footballian Fascist Party Opeñ Wert The FFP was the third party, and gained control of the nation for several years. After the Civil War, however, it fell out of favor. It is one of the three parties to have the Prime Minister position, and favors an abolishment of democratic institutions. 1% 3
