The military forces of the Holy Republic of Porcu
Overview
Porcu Defense Policy
These are the planning options set forth in the 2005 Defense Review for The Holy Republic of Porcu (HRP).
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
1. SECURE THE HRP FROM DIRECT ATTACK
2. SECURE STRATEGIC ACCESS AND RETAIN GLOBAL FREEDOM OF ACTION
3. STRENGTHEN ALLIANCES AND PARTNERSHIPS WHILE MAINTAINING THEM
How Porcu structures war fighting plans:
Porcu, being an island nation in Hyrule must have contingency plans for a war on two fronts. The Defense Review for 2005 centered around having two plans for a strategic conflict:
Major Theater War: East or West, figure out where the main enemy force is and use alliances to protect the "backside" of Porcu
At the current time, Porcu's armed forces would be stressed to handle possibly two conflicts at the same time on its east and west frontiers. That is why it is the recommendation of the Department of Defense that Porcu have a "win-hold-win" or a "secure-win-resecure" policy, meaning that HRP forces would win one conflict on one frontier and then switch to its second frontier only if it is needed. The key to victory is alliances.
The Papal Command Authority is the Pope of Porcu. In a military situation the PCA will issue orders the Palpal Military Command Center and the PMCC will distribute orders to appropiate branches of the military.
