History

Port Vice Corporate Industries was established by the city government as the Port Vice Tourist Corporation in 1960. However, it came under the sway of a new, ambitous board of directives, and the started by re-naming the corporation "Port Vice Corporate Industries" in 1973. Then the newly-renamed corporation began buying out the major media outlets and the city-state's largest newspaper, influencing public opinion and played huge role in the Port Vice secession campaign in 1992, which was successful. After independence, they wooed foreign investors into helping them to build the Port Vice re-processing Oil refinery, the automobile manufacturing plant, the electronics production plant, the foodstuffs manufacturing plant, the second and third print works plants, providing a significant amount of the popluation with jobs. But to the corporate bosses of PVCI, that was not enough. in 1999, it acquired the Port Vice Harbor district from the privately owned Port Vice Port Authority, giving them full control of the the economic functions of Port Vice. Today, PVCI is interested in establishing a botting and beverage manufacturing plant to produce a new soda brand.
