The Cup of Harmony

Group Match One:
Nova Britannicus 0-0 Liamist States

A dismal 0-0 draw was 'fought' out by these two sides, not giving the Bluebirds much hope for the rest of the tournament. If they couldn't beat the Liamist States, who on earth could they beat?

Group Match Two:
Bettia 0-2 Nova Britannicus

Quentin Bentley and Akira Jones bagged the goals as the Bluebirds walked all over the Bettians as they took a great step towards Qualification. With the right kind of results on Matchday Three, Nova Britannicus could afford to lose to Kylaai and still go through.

Group Match Three:
Nova Britannicus 0-1 Kylaai

Two-time Cup of Harmony Champions Kylaai just edged out the valient Britannicans, but only by a single goal. This, however, meant that both Kylaai and Nova Britannicus were going through to the knockout rounds.

Quarter-Final
The Weegies 2-3 Nova Britannicus

A brace from John Pompey and one from winger Frederic La Salle just managed to see off a resurgent Weegies side.

Semi-Final
Nova Britannicus 3-2 Lethislavania

Bluebirds Versus Hosts and former champs: Chalk one up for the Bluebirds. Quentin Bentley, Akira Jones and Marcus Astin repeated the Quarter-Final score as they progressed to the final in front of a partisan home crowd.

Final
Nova Britannicus 5-2 Kylaai

With the largest scoreline in Cup of Harmony history, Nova Britannicus flat-out denied Kylaai an increased record of three Cup of Harmony Championships. Captain Powers, a Hat-trick from Akira Jones and a final goal from Quentin Bentley thrashed Kylaai's side with the greatest night in Nova Britannican footballing history! Campeone! Campeone! Ole, Ole, Ole!

The Song

Created in homage to the incredible performance that night in Lethislavania, this song/chant was created in honour of the Cup of Harmony. Sung at key moments of national games, "Streets of Leth'slavania" is a huge boost to fan and player morale alike, spurring the team on to greater deeds.

The Streets of Lethislavania

We won our first cup, do you know how it felt?
J-P G-R, the man gave us all his help,
We went over to Leth and Ogle too,
Kicked all your arses while wearin' Navy Blue,
On the streets of Leth'slavania...

We scored five goals, three from Akira Jones,
Nick the Cat he were brilliant in goal,
The night came down and the Trophy came up,
Finally we'd lifted our Cup,
On the streets of Leth'slavania...

Kylaai has fallen, we're victorious,
Powers' Great Army is glorious,
So lift it high, that silver trophy you kiss,
And we'll go back home with a Cup like this,
On the streets of Leth'slavania...
