Overview

The inaugural season of the Nedalia Premier League was a great success, with interest from around the universe flooding into Nedalia. Shoreland United, the team owned by Matthew VI of Falastur took the honors at the end of the season after a rough start, led by their superstars Nene and Chris Yamtech, but not without getting a scare from Rappor FC and Honsfield Athletic. The latter featured Matis, the 33 year old Starblaydia striker who got recalled for the Starblaydian AOCAF VIII squad after winning the Golden Boot award with 31 goals scored. Rounding off the top 5 where Dorpar AC and Bronkstone FC. Each team had one of the reserves for the Nedalia Lions squad, with wonderkid Tim James in the Dorpar AC side, and Karry in the Bronkstone FC side.

The surprise of the pack was Rappor FC, who finished in 2nd on the strength of the performances of Kenneth and Ricky Telfair. The team shocked many so-called experts, who were predicting perhaps a Top 10 finish, but definitely not a Top 3 finish.

  • Derrell Lynch: The starting goalkeeper for the national side, the 28 year old Captera FC shone in the first season of the Premier League, despite a slightly disappointing season by his team.
