Presidian Guard
The Presidian Guard is based off of the ancient Roman Praetorian Guard. Its central goal is the protection of the Premier and his family. Thus, governed from this goal, the Presidian Guard is directly under the governance of the Premier (currently Vladimir Troskin).
The Presidian Guard was formed in 2000 as a final barrier of security for the Premier. It is estimated that there are currently 10,000 personnel within the Presidian Guard
After the Reformation, the Presidian Guard was re-assigned and ordered to guard the Council.

Role
The Presidian Guard has primary jurisdiction over the safety of the Premier and his immediate family. They are supposed to be within earshot of one another. The Presidian Guard details usually consist of two heavily armed members of the guard in order to protect their “protectees”. This high level of security has allowed for total protection of the Soviet administration since 2000.
After the Soviet Reformation, the Presidian Guard were absorbed my the Lawful Cooperative and assigned with guarding the Council.
Appearance
Members of the Presidian Guard are usually ordered to wear a metallic helmet consuming the entirity of their skull. This allows for communication, protection, and other classified purposes. They are usually seen wearing long, black dusters; military issued boots; concealed shin and ankle brackets; black gloves with concealed wrist brackets and knuckle brackets; black under-attire with concealed protective plating; and what appear to be respirators.
Their foreboding - and some even say Orwellian - appearance has drawn some criticism from other countries stating that they are another aparatus of the Soviet police state. The Politburo has stated that their attire has practical, protection purposes.
History
The Presidian Guard was founded on July 5, 2000 after an investigation into presidential security state that the protection of the Premier was inadequate. Thus, the Presidian Guard was formed to counter-act the lacking security. They have so-far proved successful in the total protection of the Premier.
Throughout their almost six year life-span, the Presidian Guard has stood by the Premier in Political Bureau meetings to press conferences. This is a measure allowing for the totalitarian security of one of the most powerful individuals on the planet.
Protection of Natalya Troskina and Leon Troskin
In late January, Natalya Troskina and Leon Troskin (wife and son of the Premier) went missing when their plane crashed in the Swiss Alps en route to Southern Spain. It is unknown whether Presidian Guards were onboard the aircraft when it crashed. No bodies or wreckage of the aircraft have ever been discovered.
Genetic engineering and military raising
Due to the necessity of strong individuals, the Presidian Guard are formed from genetically engineered cells. Upon birth, Presidian Guard children are raised by the Interior Commissariat in order to learn the basics of combat skills, advanced training, and advanced intelligence training. This lifestyle has drawn some controversy from nations such as Pacitalia and Roach-Busters, but the Presidium (Federative Central Government) have dismissed their criticisms.
It is unknown exactly how Presidian Guards are raised, but some conspiracy theorists state they are injected with high-amounts of Dystorium in order to build up their immune and nervous systems to adequate needs. This is also a theory on why no Presidian Guard has ever been heard to speak. Some speculate that certain ingredient in Dystorium cause the tissue of the vocal cords to breakdown causing muteness. This has been denied by the Soviet Union.
