Reveal & Repeal (R&R) is a NationStates United Nations off-site group fully dedicated to repealing ineffectual and poor legislation previously passed by the General Assembly. Founded by Jey and Dankism, R&R targets the worst of NSUN proposals, particularly the oldest, and aims to strike them out and replace them if need be.

History

The idea behind a NationStates group dedicated to repeals was first envisioned by Jey well before the creation of R&R. Jey began discussing this idea with Dankism around April 2006. On April 8th, Jey registered the Reveal and Repeal board, and with hosting provisions and graphics assistance, Dankism helped to found the organization. R&R was officially released to the public on May 5th, 2006, after a special promotion which allowed for registration by UNOG members.

Over the course of it's history, R&R has contributed to numerous repeal attempts of its members, including Resolutions #157, and #161, written by Dankism and Adolf Barham respectively, and both co-authored by Jey. Other unsuccessful attempts included the repeal of Stop privacy intrusion, which failed at the General Assembly. Though R&R has only officially endorsed these 3 resolutions, its members are some of the best repealers in all of NationStates, with a combined 13 authorships or co-authorships of repeals alone.

R&R, to this day, remains an active organization focused on repeals, and welcomes membership from nearly any willing NationStates participants.

Membership

Membership into Reveal & Repeal requires simply a NationStates nation, and either membership in the United Nations or a high interest in its affairs, particularly repeals.
