A football player who competed in the World Cup as part of the team from the People’s Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia, the World Cup founder.

Ford's career on the international scene began in World Cup 4, where he proved quite a revelation in his early matches. In World Cup 5, he had the unenviable task of living up to the legacy left by Terry Singh, who had just retired from his forward position and international football.

Raphael Ford and Myrtille Dubois - whom he eventually married - formed the team's forward pair from then onward, and helped establish the deep-rooted idea among supporters that the forward players are the leading pair, the vital energy of any Ariddian football team. The Fords had a distinguished career, and remain - Myrtille especially - among the most famous names in Ariddian football, even abroad.

Both are now long since deceased.
