The real world is an out-of-character place sometimes visited by NationStates players. It is also known as real Life, RW, or RL. Some have said that the word life is an abbreviation for "lame imitation of fair existence", so real life is just a lame imitation of fair existence. Whatever it stands for, the real world has caused of many players to quit NationStates in pursuit of goals in real life.
