Reconstruction (Greater DCU)

The Reconstruction was the period of history in Greater DCU from the end of the Revolution to the opening of the borders in 2002. During this time Verdean society was rebuilt after the ravages of war and the socialist state was constructed. There were massive changes in the years immediately following the Revolution including the mass movement of peoples, the imposition of a new administrative and social system and the development of a new language.
