Recruiting

Recruiting is the practice of members of a region contacting other nations to join that region, invariably a player created region of one to one thousand (e.g., Gatesville) resident nations. The two main methods are broadcasting and narrowcasting.

Once each day, recruiters from a specific region may post one recruiting message on the Civil Headquarters of the seven game-created regions: the Pacifics, Lazarus and The Rejected Realms. Advertisements are allowed in a player-created region only if the World Factbook there explicitly permits them and only according to the conditions it sets.

If the Civil HQs represent the broadcast method, then telegrams represent the narrowcast method. Recruiters may send each nation, whether just spawned or long resident, in a feeder region one telegram soliciting membership. Nations in player-created regions may not be explicitly recruited and can only be contacted once, unless they respond to the first telegram.
