The Republican Socialist may seem contradictory by it's name but it is a true blue party. The party was formed by Yasashii Himura in 1808. The party's name comes from two dirvative terms:
Republic(an) Indicating it's a part of the republic or reprsented by a person who supports the or a free republic.
And Socialist, indicating it's pro socialism.
But contrary to popular belife, it's a democratic group, not a communist group, and supports freedoms and libirites in a major society, and desires shared values, and a just orderly society. It has very little bases in the theories of Karl Marx or Marxism

Belifes of the Party
Private Industry
Contrary to most socialist belifes, it isn't a anti-capitalist group. However it does place emphasis on restricting the private sector with in the law. It doesn't like the idea of no social justice created by big buisness, therefore it restircts it heavily. However it doesn't outlaw it, or desire to outlaw it. They impose very strict anti-dumping laws, ethcial and humane parctices. The R.S. Party strongly dissaproves even assosiation to an organization that doesn't give participate directly.
Social Issues
The R.S party has a strong emphasis on social justice and equality. It is usually pro-direct democracy. The party practices this activley and allows average normal people to adress the parliment with their concernes or desires.
They also tend to be quite conservative. They frown upon drug and alchol use, and many are religious. While they do try to maintain a respectable seperation of their belifes, it's not uncommon for moral fabric to be a deciding factor in law making. They are also apposed to abortion, feeling an unborn fetus is a living breathing creature, just like a human.
Although they are conservative, most favor the Death Penalty for capital crimes. Some would call it hypocracy but leader of the party Nancy Novoty, feel diffrently.

The Party is in Favor of Civil and Poltical rights of people. Women and minorites do recive special attention, but they don't cast the non-minorites out either.
Education
The R.S. party is against vouchers for private schools. They are strongly infavor of Free and open education for all people of all backgrounds. Much money funds the education system, and hires excllent teachers.
Armement
The R.S is a pro-arms group. They are generally against WMD's and belive they should arm to protect and help other nations, not hold them under their thumb. They keep the Military optional and do not desire to instate a draft.
