King Reynarde III
Son of Auguste VI, Reynarde was a bright and ruthless young man, who served with distinction in the Royal Army. Forced into exile at the death of his father by his friend Henri Rechamp, Reynarde began forging alliances with several key nobles and after four years seized power for the Crown. After an assassination attempt he grew increasingly paranoid, and began a reign of terror to root out traitors and enemies of the Crown. Defeated by Admiral Jean Francois de la Martinique and his old enemy Henri Rechamp, Reyarde was killed in the last fighting around the Palais du Roi in Saint Michele.
