The Rigan colonists that landed in western Aperin brought their language with them, establishing it as a trade language among the native Aperins. The language spread outside of western Aperin as Svea Riga established colonies across Aperin, notably in the Svea Rigan Weegies and in Tavast-Carelia in the continent of Alçaera.
