The Rights of the People of the Republic is the bill of rights for all Halladis. It is included as part of the constitution, and is known for its libertarian social policy.

The Rights of the People of the Republic

1. Where as all people are created equal, in the eyes of the Republic, regardless of race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation.

2. Marriage is defined as the matrimony of two (2) persons. Heterosexual and Homosexual marriages are both valid in the eyes of the Republican government.

3. All citizens have the right to apply for a civil union.

4. All citizens have the right to a fair trial. Impartial attorneys will always be provided to both Plaintiff and Defendant, if they are requested.

5. All citizens accused of a crime must go through a hearing. No accused person(s) can be held with out a charge against them.

6. Citizens of the Republic are expected to follow the laws of the government and the laws of the people.

7. Citizenship can be gained through application to the Commissariat of Immigration. All applicants are subject to extensive background checks. Applications made of lies will be revoked.

8. All people, citizen or not, have the right to asylum within the boarders of the Republic.

9. All citizens of the Republic have the right to vote if they are at least sixteen (16) years of age.

10. All citizens have the right to a free education. All citizens must attend at least twelve (12) years of school. College and university is optional, however it is free to attend.

11. All citizens are entitled to a place in the Universal Healthcare System of Hallad. This is free after application to the Commissariat of Health and Social Services.

12. All citizens can apply for a job. Those unable to find suitable work may apply for Welfare, or job placement. This can be done by applying to the Commissariat of Internal Affairs.

13. All citizens have the right to bare arms and belong to the People's Militia.

14. All citizens have the right to practice the religion of their choice.

15. All citizens have the right to affiliate with the political party of their choice.

16. All citizens are encouraged to participate in the governing of the Republic.

17. Any citizen has the right to call a town or city meeting. Any town or city has the right to call a county meeting. Any county has the right to call a provincial meeting. Any province has the right to call for a National Assembly.

18. All citizens have the right to form a Commune or Collective (Farming Cooperative). However, the Commune or Collective must be registered with the Commissariat of Food and Agriculture.

19. All citizens have the right to form a Syndicate (Industrial Cooperative). However, all Syndicates must be registered with the Commissariat of Indsutry.

20. All citizens of working class will earn no less than $12.50 per hour.

21. All citizens have rights which have not been stated within this document.

22. All citizens have the right to peace and solidarity.
