Robert Tredegat (5 October, 1960), was the ninth President of Hekloslogravia. He was formerly a General in Hekloslogravian Army. Tredegat was noted for helping foil the coup within the Republican faction of the civil war, and commanding the Republican forces in the Second Battle of Lundburg.

Early Life
Robert Francis Tredegat was born to George and Martha Tredegat on 5 October, 1960 in Fenoria UKTGM; youngest of three children. Upon graduating High School, he was accepted into the Royal Military Academy where he graduated fifth in his class. However, despite his success and several recommendations from his superiors, he was deported when the King William IX's State Purity Laws were enacted.
Military Career
Though he was given a commission as a 2nd lieutenant in the Hekloslogravian Army in 1983, Tredegat slowly rose through the ranks due to his political views. Coming from an absolute monarchy (UKTGM), Tredegat was a strong proponent of democracy in Hekloslogravia, and helped overthrow Emperor Edward I of Hekloslogravia in 1993. Briefly after this, he married Grace Thompson. They have one daughter, Alice.
Hekloslogravian Civil War
In the Hekloslogravian Civil War, though he despised Jake Clawston, he took orders from him to foil a coup by Senator Thomas Y. Madison. After Madison took control of the Picardy House, Tredegat led troops in storming the building, and killed Madison.
In the Second Battle of Lundburg, commonly known as "The Coronation Incident", outside of Hekloslogravia, Tredegat led about 300 soldiers in an attempt to arrest Kief James II, and to seize and hold the foreign dignitaries attending the ceremonies. The Kief was quickly captured, but the dignitaries, led by Tristan and Kane Angel of Angel Fire, and Funky G, of Dancing Bananland, but up a brave fight, and were able to escape.
Sayt Crisis
In July of 2005, a group of rebels seized control of the Saytian city of Gil'eaden. Hekloslogravia, and its allies in the newly formed Garestion Pact military alliance responded by sending troops to Sayt to aide in liberating the city.
While leading a brigade of Garestion Pact forces across a square in the industrial district of Gil'eaden he received a minor wound in the chest from a rebel sniper.
Governor-Mayor of Lundburg
After his recovery, he was promoted to Lieutenant General (Brigadier General), and was named the military Governor-Mayor of Lundburg on August 15, to manage the rescue and recovery efforts after the Lundburg Earthquake. He resigned on 15 September, 2005, returning power to the civilian government.
Great Aberdonian War
Briefly after resigning as Governor-Mayor, Tredegat was promoted to Captain General (Major General). In the beginning of 2006, he led the Hekloslogravian 8th Infantry Division in the war with the United Kingdoms of Trans-Galasia and Moravia. He lost the opening battle of the war, the Battle of Hazenet Beach, being defeated by Generaloberst Jakob Zimmerman.
After leading the Hekloslogravians to victory in the Fourth Battle of Lundburg, which occurred in February of 2006, he was promoted to Major General (Lieutenant General), and put in command of the Hekloslogravian II Corps.
After Caysiria and Moracia declared war on the UKTGM in August, Tredegat was promoted to General, and sent to command the Hekloslogravian Expeditionary Force, which would invade the UKTGM through Caysiria.
Political Career
Garestion Pact Meeting
Tredegat was sent as Hekloslogravia's delegate to the Garestion Pact's meeting in May of 2007. It was here that Tredegat announced his intentions to seek the Hekloslogravia Party's nomination for President of Hekloslogravia in the 2007 elections.
Presidency
Tredegat won in a landslide in the 2007 Presidential Elections, and was innuagerated in February of 2008.

- His former adjunct was William Clawston, the cousin of former Hekloslogravian President Jake Clawston.
- Tredegat is distantly related to former President of Hekloslogravia Charles F. Kane.
- He had a German Shepard named Joe as a boy.
- In his bedroom as a child, he had a giant painting of the Solignian general, (later emperor) Antonio Lombardi.
- His favorite color is green.
