Roger Omsec is the current Federal President of the Confederacy of Latao.

He is a long year member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and leads the Ministry of Traffics, Communication and Environment.

Omsec was elected two years ago and quickly gained support for his pro-business, nationalist affiliation, although his statements sometimes are considered populist.

He is known for hiding, or at least not clearly pronouncing his intentions, which sometimes leads to a lack of trust for foreign negotiation partners. In this event, Foreign Minister Nadia Pumia uses all her female charm to fix the situation.

As for political meanings, Omsec is a typical right-winged politician with strong nationalist education. Domestic interests and the interests of the Latin people have clear priority over international matters and the economy benefits from wide freedoms.

Under his leading, Latao became one of the richest countries in the world and received the UN-category “Capitalist Paradise”. He abolished all kind of taxes, increased the level of democracy and powered federalist structures in Latao. However this strategy also leads to some civil difficulties, as the state of Latao provides nearly no social services to its people.

Omsec made Latao to a mighty, important nation in Atlantian Oceania. He lead the country into the Atlantian Oceania Regional Council and joined the AORDO-Defense organization and as well as making Latao a foundation member of the FLMS-alliance, as strategic co-operation, development and security organization. Under his term, the country left the UN, as he saw no use for that (expensive) relationship that just takes money and dictates laws.

Besides position Latao in some strategic international alliances and organizations he also opened the country for relations with numerous friendly nations, although the harmonization with autocratics lead to critics inside Omsec’s own, strong democratic fraction. The voices however got silent when the nation realized that all these new relations brought more capital and more commerce into the country.

Besides his political office as head of the government, Omsec also owns Latao’s largest media company, the shmoo broadcasting network. Due to his limited time, he needed to withdraw from the operational business, but still keeps the last word in the company. Omsec also has seats in numerous other companies’ control boards.

There is not much known about his private life. It’s known that he cares very much for clothing and looks; he has done some cosmetic surgeries and regularly performs fitness work-outs. He is a strong beer drinker and got several in conflict with traffic laws times, for speeding and other aggressive driving incidents that have lead to a confiscation of his driver’s license twice. Omsec is frequently seen at trance parties all around the country but rarely seems to have contact with female citizens, while he clearly states not to be gay, but wishes to marry some day. Age: 24 years.
