Having completed its eighth installment (though with the 1st Rugby World Cup long lost into the mists of time), the Rugby World Cup is one of the younger tournaments in the international NS Sporting Calendar, for fans and players of the 15-man Rugby Union code.

RWC2
Revived from the dustbin of pre-Jolt history, Aust began sign-ups for the second Rugby World Cup. 20 teams entered into the competition, a massive 14 of them posting Rosters. Though Aust had to drop out of the hosting before the Tournament began, Starblaydia, who had developed a simple scorinator, took up the hosting duty. Though Dark Teutonia had by far the highest RP Bonus in the Cup, they failed to score in the final and were demolished by Cockbill Street.

RWC3
Co-hosted by future World Cup 21 hosting duo Cockbill Street and Lethislavania, 22 teams (in two groups of 6 and two groups of 5) competed once more. the Defending Champions Cockbill Street breezed through the tournament, as did Starblaydia, meeting in a climactic Semi-Final. Though beating their biggest opponents by a single point, the Champions couldn't continue their form and fell to East Lithuania in a shock Final result, while Starblaydia took revenge over Aust for last time.

RWC4
RWC4 was again scheduled to be hosted by Aust, though Starblaydia once again took over before the tournament began. Half-way through RL issues halted Starblaydia's hosting, and the tournament failed to restart until taken over by PopularFreedom, upon which the Cup was completed. Aust finally got the World Title they had been aiming for.

RWC5
RWC5 was hosted by Haraki. Teams representing 22 nations participated in the tournament and were placed in one of four groups. The top two teams in each group advanced to the playoffs. AMW China, PopularFreedom, Haraki, and Larkinia won their respective groups. They were joined in the playoffs by Milchama, San Haven, Prolestan, and Starblaydia. The playoffs themselves provided few surprises with host Haraki winning the world championship in the end.
RWC6
RWC6 was hosted by the nation of Haraki. Teams representing 18 nations participated in the tournament and were placed in one of four groups . The top two teams in each group advanced to the playoffs. Haraki, AMW China, Larkinia, and PopularFreedom won their respective groups. They were joined in the playoffs by McPsychoville, Lisburn Mateys, Rorysville, and Sarzonia. This playoffs were filled with controversy and surprises, with Rorysville coming out on top in the final.

RWC7
RWC7 was hosted by the nation of PopularFreedom in the supercity of Locke Harbour City State. Teams representing 17 nations participated in the tournament and were placed in one of four groups . The top two teams in each group advanced to the playoffs. Quakmybush, Virginia Nova, Sarzonia, and Artitsa won their respective groups. They were joined in the playoffs by AMW China, Snake Eaters, Haraki, and Rorysville.
This Rugby World Cup was filled with a number of surprises including that the hometown Locke Harbour Dragons representing the nation of PopularFreedom were unable to qualify for the playoffs. In the quarterfinals, three of the four group winners lost their quarterfinal matches.
The semifinals saw a strong Snake Eaters squad upset AMW China, while Rorysville defeated Artitsa in the other semifinal.
In the final, the defending champions Rorysville, were upset by a surprisingly strong Snake Eaters squad.

RWC8
RWC8 was hosted by the nation of Solenial. Teams Representing 16 Nations Signed up and were place in one of four pools. The top two team's in each Pool advanced to the Quater Final. Solenial, Ariddia, Starblaydia, Pa'atua, Sorthern Northland, Alba Scotland, Kalaa and Candelaria & Marquez.
The semifinals saw a strong Solenial squad upset Sorthern Northland, while Ariddia defeated Alba Scotland in the other semifinal.
In the final, Solenial, were victorious by a surprisingly strong Ariddia squad.
